The Ivy began as a dream sketched in the margins of a recipe notebook — a place where the ritual of tea-making could be shared, where the smell of fresh scones could fill a room, and where anyone who walked through the door would feel instantly at ease.
Our founder grew up watching her grandmother brew tea with the kind of patience and care that made every cup feel like a gift. That spirit lives in everything we do at The Ivy — from the way we source our leaves to the way we plate a slice of cake.
We opened our doors with a simple promise: to create a space that feels like a deep breath. A tearoom where time slows down, and every detail — the china, the flowers, the music — is chosen with love.

Our Kitchen
Everything Made from Scratch
Our kitchen starts early. By the time the tearoom opens, the scones are already golden, the tarts are cooling on the rack, and the day's cake is waiting to be sliced. We bake in small batches so everything is as fresh as it can be.
We use real butter, seasonal fruit, and quality flour. We don't use artificial flavours or preservatives. When something runs out, it runs out — and we think that's a good sign.
